This was our first visit to Joyce's beautiful garden in Little Hay village. It's one of those long gardens that evry time you walk through an arch way, provides you with another scene to wonder at.
We based ourselves in the lower section opposite a bank of seats that Joyce and William had set out. Hopeful of an audience.
We had a windless sunny day that allowed us to catch glimses of Spitfires and similar old planes as they flew to the Cosford air show that day.
A very casual set list that invariably had repeats as we experimented with new songs appropriate to the day. An English Country Garden seemed to rear its head at regular intervals as new visitors to the garden settled to listen.
