Staffordshire Conservative Party Garden Party.

(14th August 2016)

Sandra had been asked if we would play at this garden party after they had heard us play at the Little Hay open garden a few weeks earlier.

Unfortunately the sound system gave us a few head aches as we tried using condensor microphones for the first time at an event. We were situated a little too far from the party to effectively play without amplification. All in all not our best day.

One positive did result in that Michael Webb, the parties host, offered us free use of his hotel, The George in Lichfield, for a future Gig to raise funds for St Giles. For that we were very appreciative.
